Omigoodness - I am about as crazy as it gets.  I completely forgot my password for this blog-that would be why I haven't updated in so long. . . !  he he he! Welp, little man is getting over an ear infection once again - but have no fear, all is well!  I FINALLY ordered a laptop, so this is my big chance to get into networking and doing something with my life, haha!  I am hoping to build a better clientele through the internet - and I am actually in need of some willing ladies to let me perform up-do's on them for some advertising.  Let me know if you're interested!

I've also just purchased tons of Rusk color, in place of my Paul Mitchell color.  I wasn't liking the way the PM was working.  I suppose it was the amount of warmth I was getting on some clients.  I have had to fix 2 women in the past month due to "hot roots" as we call it.  Not a good thing!  I am loving the line so far, they have some beautiful colors. . . especially their chocolate line! :)  I cannot wait to use it on more clients! It has incredible shine, and it lasts a long time!  I have heard that this color line is also warm, but it definitely has different modifiers to help tune out those warm tones.  We'll see what awaits with this color line!

On another note, Christmas is almost here! :) Santa better get to workin' reeeeeeal soon because it comes faster than we know it!

Much love!

Kisses and Coughs. . .

Good Morning Everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  I haven't updated this lil' thang because I have had a sicky-poo son!  He had a little cold, and these past few nights were somethin' else! It's crazy how they can be 100 miles/hr during the day, and the sickness hits them worse around 6 pm.  Anyway, He is much better now, and we are back on our normal schedule!

So on my FB I asked if anyone was interested in knowing anything . . .and today I will be discussing the perfect eyeshadow colors for your eye color.

Starting off, I want to mention the different types of eyeshadows, some more suitable for young ladies, and as you get older, they aren't so flattering.  Highlighters and enhancers will really open up your eyes, these are normally colors that  open up your eyes and reflect on your own natural eye color.  Next off, we have Neutrals... these are shades that are considered neutral because they are made of the three primary colors, blue, red and yellow.  Shades of brown eyeshadows are neutral and can be worn on anybody.  Metallics are high-shine reflectives and they can be warm, cool or neutral.  A little goes a long way with these babies!  Metallics will draw maximum attention to where they are worn, so you need to be careful if you are wanting to hide those fine lines or flaws.  These are great for fresh, sheen looks, or heavy night time eyes!  Last but not least, we have Accents, these are deep, vivid or bright colors and they are mainly used on the upper or lower eye areas and are best applied in minimal quantities.  These could be considered the "accesory" shades, such as shoes, earrings or a spectacular purse to go with your outfit!

There are really no rules when it comes to fashion, so play it up and mix and match - it's more fun that way!

For blue eyes, the shades that work the best are usually the following. . .

Blue eyes can also pull of very dark colors as well, they look beautiful any time!

Green Eyes can pull off those colors up there very well also,  remember, there are NO RULES when it comes to makeup, except looking like this. . .

Brown eyes can pull off many colors as well, from greens, browns, golds and also to lavenders. . . here's an example of a neutral look for brown eyes. . .

Eventually I want to start filming my own videos, but I need to become a little bit smarter with this whole video blog thaaaaang!

There are many ways to do your eyeshadows, and  I will most likely do another article about shadows in the near future.  But, my morning workout is callin' my name so I'll be outta your hair now, literally . . . ;)

Much love from Dylan and I <3

I am also open to any suggestions, questions or beauty advice you girls are seeking!  I will be having contests on the blog, and giveaways as well!  Here's a peek at an awesome makeup tutorial from YouTube.

O Mi Goodness!

Ever wondered what it was like to be obsessed with hair and makeup?!  Well here's your chance to find out.  If you keep yourself updated on the latest blog posts I put up, you can find new techniques, view makeup tutorials (which I hope I can get my hands on doing one day...) and also find the hottest affordable skincare and makeup products.  I know I come from a small town, but us girls are into it just as much as them slinky city girls!  I hope you enjoy reading posts about beauty, as well as my family life every once in a while!  Here's a sneak peek of what you can expect !

Do you want those long beautiful lashes without the spider leg look?! Here's a few options for the best AFFORDABLE mascaras that you can purchase at your local Wal-Mart, Target or Walgreens. . .

This is my ultimate favorite mascara, and I've been using it for years.  Sure, I have tried brands such a Estee Lauder and MAC but none of them beat this stuff.  You can purchase this for under 5 BUCKS! This stuff works great, it comes in 'blackest black' 'black,' 'brown,' and even 'royal blue!' hehehe. If we were in the 80's, that would be good stuff!

This is also fantastic mascara, you can get a massive amount of volume without the clumps and sticky mess that some products can cause!

Hope this helps!
Much love,
Ree Reeedy.
