Kisses and Coughs. . .

Good Morning Everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  I haven't updated this lil' thang because I have had a sicky-poo son!  He had a little cold, and these past few nights were somethin' else! It's crazy how they can be 100 miles/hr during the day, and the sickness hits them worse around 6 pm.  Anyway, He is much better now, and we are back on our normal schedule!

So on my FB I asked if anyone was interested in knowing anything . . .and today I will be discussing the perfect eyeshadow colors for your eye color.

Starting off, I want to mention the different types of eyeshadows, some more suitable for young ladies, and as you get older, they aren't so flattering.  Highlighters and enhancers will really open up your eyes, these are normally colors that  open up your eyes and reflect on your own natural eye color.  Next off, we have Neutrals... these are shades that are considered neutral because they are made of the three primary colors, blue, red and yellow.  Shades of brown eyeshadows are neutral and can be worn on anybody.  Metallics are high-shine reflectives and they can be warm, cool or neutral.  A little goes a long way with these babies!  Metallics will draw maximum attention to where they are worn, so you need to be careful if you are wanting to hide those fine lines or flaws.  These are great for fresh, sheen looks, or heavy night time eyes!  Last but not least, we have Accents, these are deep, vivid or bright colors and they are mainly used on the upper or lower eye areas and are best applied in minimal quantities.  These could be considered the "accesory" shades, such as shoes, earrings or a spectacular purse to go with your outfit!

There are really no rules when it comes to fashion, so play it up and mix and match - it's more fun that way!

For blue eyes, the shades that work the best are usually the following. . .

Blue eyes can also pull of very dark colors as well, they look beautiful any time!

Green Eyes can pull off those colors up there very well also,  remember, there are NO RULES when it comes to makeup, except looking like this. . .

Brown eyes can pull off many colors as well, from greens, browns, golds and also to lavenders. . . here's an example of a neutral look for brown eyes. . .

Eventually I want to start filming my own videos, but I need to become a little bit smarter with this whole video blog thaaaaang!

There are many ways to do your eyeshadows, and  I will most likely do another article about shadows in the near future.  But, my morning workout is callin' my name so I'll be outta your hair now, literally . . . ;)

Much love from Dylan and I <3
